Management of Revenue Online Driver Services against Economic Self-Sufficiency

Abstract

Online transportation in Makassar City has grown rapidly, and the profession of online drivers is increasingly in demand. The main advantages of managing online driver income are time flexibility, high income potential, full control over income, and opportunities for self-development in financial management. However, the challenges faced include unstable income, high operational costs, dependence on application platform policies, and intense competition. Online drivers need to manage their finances well, such as separating operational and net income, saving, and working during peak hours to achieve financial stability and economic independence. The profession of online drivers in Makassar City is increasingly in demand because of its time flexibility and high income potential. To maximize income, online drivers need to implement effective management strategies, such as utilizing peak hours to work, managing operational costs by choosing efficient routes and maintaining vehicles, and saving for emergency funds. In addition, the use of technology such as navigation applications and travel pattern analysis can improve work efficiency. Improving the quality of service and customer satisfaction is also important to get more bookings and incentives. Diversifying sources of income, such as looking for side jobs, can help improve the financial stability of online drivers.
